When a submarine is stranded at the bottom of the Baltic Sea, speed and efficiency are of the essence. No rescue mission is ever straightforward, but here the risks are greater and could even lead to fatalities.
The objective of Exercise Dynamic Monarch is to train international crews in maritime rescue. These complex procedures, carried out on the seabed, require specialised craft and state-of-the-art technology which are vital for quick and safe evacuation of personnel in distress.
